THE TIDES OF THIS TIME

A Collection of Temporal Reflection

The collection demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of human spiritual journey, moving from existential questioning through moral confrontation to redemptive resolution. The careful sequencing creates a narrative arc that mirrors classical spiritual autobiography, while the recurring motifs of journey, time, and light provide thematic coherence. A work of both contemporary confessional and traditional wisdom literature, which speaks to universal human experiences of doubt, moral struggle, balance, joy, and the search for meaning, especially in the present social climate.

As humans may navigate the currents of life through love, pain, joy, relationships, disappointments, injustice, betrayals, family, friends and foes, Dr. Ibikunle Dashur masterfully weaves together imagery and emotion in words, creating thoughts that will resonate deeply with most readers involved in these navigations, urging us to pause and appreciate the beauty in both the mundane and the extraordinary.

With his usual persuasive language, the author reminds us that while time may be relentless, it is also a paper upon which we ink our own stories. paper upon which we ink our own stories.
